Exciting

Oooh I haven't started a new blog in years. Well, that's not entirely true as I set up a temporary book blog on Blogger last year but I've used Blogger on and off for a long time and as not much has changed on there it was more on a needs must basis rather than anything very creative.

So anyway, I just spotted this on Bluesky and being an inquisitive type I had to have a little nosey as I love to try anything new. I am supposed to be getting a blog post ready on my other blog, thinking how to politely let a publisher know that the book they very kindly sent me a proof of turned out to not be quite my cup of tea, and writing a review for a book I finished last week which I absolutely adored - The Sewing Machine by Natalie Fergie.

I perhaps need to remember this is a micro blogging site, so be succinct? I'm not very good at that and do tend to ramble on a bit given half a chance. As I've only just this last 10 minutes signed up I haven't had a chance to look around yet at the formatting and what I can do (all part of the fun of signing up to something brand new) so do excuse the lack of anything fancy on this my first post.

I'm thinking a place to chat about current reads and anything else that might spring to mind, but for now I'd best get on with my other blogging stuff. Sooo, shall I hit the publish button? Yeah go on.
